Red Swirl Minky on Top, Red Satin on back and black ruffles.  The name is embroidered in the satin in black.

Appliqued Zebra & Minky Name Blanket

This was my 1st Minky Blanket that I created in December .

I had a customer that wanted the same one with different name and a star instead of a heart.

I finished this one yesterday and this style of blanket is available for sale in my Etsy Store

I will get my store tag sewn on this weekend and it will ship out on Monday morning.

Embroidery Machine

I raised enough money to buy the software and card writer for my embroidery machine.

Found mine on Joanns.com for $129.99 which is higher than ebay, but I had a 50% off coupon so I was able to get it for half price. 

It was ordered Saturday so hopefully next week it will be here !!

I'm really busy with blanket orders, so not sure when I will have time to learn to use it..  My best friend volunteed to try to teach me to use it, but still need some thread, stablizer so I can play with it. 

Belated Happy Easter

I finished my daughter's easter outfit in time for the egg hunt on Saturday.

Embroidery Machine

I finally saved enough money to buy my own embroidery machine.  I can't begin to start to learn to use it until I get the money to buy the software and card writer for it.  Plus I need thread, stablizer and more bobbins.  But the pretty machine is sitting on my desk waiting for the day it can be used. 

I have been paying my best friend to do my embroidery work and as soon as I get all the materials and learn to use it, I won't have to pay her anymore ..  Very grateful for her help, but eager to do embroidery work on my own.
