Diaper Bag

I bought this pattern recently and due to how busy I stay time wasn't permitting to make up one for my store.  Someone volunteered to be my paying gineau pig :) Yeah !!

The customer wants it made with two fabrics like this bag

She chose these fabrics for her bag.. The swirl fabric and the black will go outside with a hot pink inside. She chose a hot pink fringe to go around the top and embroiderying Khloe on the front in pink. 

 

I will start sewing the bag together tonite and hopefully within a week it will be ready to ship.

Pink Brown Dress

I made this lil dress sometime ago..  and then a customer ordered it on Friday and paid extra for me to put a ruffle and bows on it. I didn't think the dress looked too  bad before, but once I got the bows and ruffle on..I now like the AFTER better.

I won't be able to recreate this dress in this fabric since I can't find the fabric again. I think I orginally bought it off ebay.

St. Patricks Day Outfit

I didnt have time to offer a St. Patricks Day outfit for sale in my Etsy Store this year. 

But did take a day to create my daughter an outfit for St. Patricks Day.

I already had the fabric,jeans and just needed to buy a shirt and put it all together.              

I can do other outfits like this and will offer these for sale next year in my Etsy store !

Apple A-line Ruffle Dress

I finished up the Apple Dress for my Etsy Store !

Instead of buttons I put in metal snaps and adorned with bows.

I will be finishing up an A Line Dress in this material in sz 2T tonite or tomorrow.  I've had the fabric for awhile and finally decided it would make a cute toddler dress. 

I've used the same pattern previously and made this spiderweb dress.

Valetines Hearts Patchwork Ruffle Slip on Pants

I was home yesterday with my sick daughter and home today with her..  Finally finished these Valentines Ruffle Pants for my Etsy Store.

I should of made them in 3T so my daughter could of worn them if they didn't sell, but they are ready to go in size 2T.

Ruffle Bum Onesie

I found this tutorial on another blog and tonite when cleaning house I found two old onesie's that Hailey has outgrown but yet stain free.

So tomorrow I heat up the new iron I got for christmas and attempt some ruffle onesie's for my Etsy store !

This might be a good way to use up some of my scrap fabric.

Need something crafty to do while I wait for the snow/ice to melt and my minky to arrive to finish a customer's blanket and infant carseat strap covers. 

Now its time to get my 2yr old to bed so I can have a snack (nutty butter bars!)

After I get this last Minky Baby Blanket finished and delivered, I will start making burp cloths for my Esty Store !

I made this adorable skirt for a little girl named Anna that is exchanging christmas gifts with my daughter, Hailey.  Plus I'm offering the same skirt in my Etsy Store for sale !

Candy Cane Pants

I finished up the candy cane pants to go with my Candy Cane Jumper Top/Dress today !

Cute huh?

Tomorrow I take my daughter to see Santa at walmart and hopefully have pictures made, then I will come home and start on the snowflake 2 tier twirl skirt.

New Etsy Shop Additons

Since my computer has been since the shop I've had some extra time at home to be productive with sewing and hope someone will purchase my stuff !!

I haven't had a single sale since Sept . 

In January I'm thinkin of giving up on sewing, etsy shop and just donating my goodies since its just not worth paying Etsy/Ebay fees/plus buy fabric for NOTHING to sell.

Mickey Mouse Skirt

I finished my Mickey Mouse Skirt this morning ! My half manni just doesn't do it justice so I had my daughter model it for me.

She doesn't like hair accessories so her 25th anniversary care bear took the headband modeling job !

Thanksgiving/Fall Skirt

I finished my Fall/Thanksgiving skirt last night ! It is listed in my Etsy Store for sale in sz 4. I take custom orders and can make this in sz 2t-4 or to match your child's waist size.



If you would like a different fabric, tell me..I can probably locate almost anything. I had a lady inquire about a skirt with Sesame street fabric and I found her several fabric options.



Tonite I start a Mickey Mouse Skirt with this fabric. I hope to start Christmas Customs by Nov 1st.

Mickey Minne Halloween Skirt

Yesterday afternoon I was able to convince (aka bribe) my daughter into modeling my Mickey Minnie Skirt. I wanted at least 2 pictures and I loved this one the best.. I can't force her to stand in any certain pose so I snap a dozen a pictures to get 2 good ones ! This was my favorite pose !

I listed the skirt in my Etsy Store and have offered the tights up for sale also ! This is a one of a kind creation since I was unable to obtain more of these fabric squares.

I have 27 items listed on ebay w/out a single bid.. Its been awful S L O W on ebay for the last few months.. Sales are few and in between.. I hate to take over 50 pieces of clothings to the consignment store where I might come with $10.00 after a month, but even craigslist sales are non existant lately.

I have the next day two days off.. Tomorrow i hope to devout most of the day sewing even though my husband will be home bugging me about being bored. Maybe he will go out and mow or go hang out with one of the nieghbors or something ;)

I wanted to make my own clothing labels for my custom outfits/stuff.. This great tutorial is how I'm going to learn to make labels .. I still have a big spool of white satin ribbon leftover from my wedding 3yrs ago, and have all other other materials, just needed Ink Jet Iron on Transfer paper which I aquired today ! I put on putting my store name -Rowanmayfairs Designs and underneath put my Etsy Store web address.

Class Sewing Project

Last night I finished my sewing class project..

I made this simple A line button dress with black spiderweb fabric and finished it off with spider buttons. Hopefully in the next day or two I will have time to make a pair of pants to go with it.
